Job summary

Global Sports Jobs Limited seeks an experienced Enterprise Data Architect to drive our data strategy during a major digital transformation. You will define standards, govern scalable data platforms and lead enterprise data modelling across business, product and technology teams.

You will partner with stakeholders to ensure data contracts align with operational needs while promoting CI/CD, IaC and platform automation for reliable delivery and cost efficiency.

Qualifications

• 8-12 years in data engineering/architecture with enterprise-scale platforms.
• Cloud data platforms design on AWS, Azure or equivalents.
• Expertise in data lake, data warehouse and lakehouse design.
• Experience with Data Vault and dimensional modelling.
• Strong governance, metadata, lineage and security frameworks.
• Knowledge of CI/CD and IaC practices; Terraform/CloudFormation.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Define and maintain enterprise data architecture standards and roadmaps.
• Design and govern scalable data architectures across platforms.
• Lead data modelling for business, operational and analytical use cases.
• Promote data governance, quality, metadata and security practices.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to align models with requirements.
• Provide reviews for data pipelines, APIs and platform enhancements.
• Drive platform scalability, cost optimisation and reliability.
• Evaluate emerging data/AI/cloud capabilities.
