Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) in Hong Kong seeks a Solutions Architect to partner with Enterprise customers across industries, designing reliable, cost-effective cloud-native architectures and guiding migration and modernization on AWS. The role blends technical depth across infrastructure, security, DevOps, data, and AI with business acumen to translate technology into measurable value for customers.

Qualifications

• Experience with one of the following programming languages: Python, Ruby, Node.js, C#, or C++.
• Experience with two or more of the following: networking fundamentals, security, storage or databases (relational or NoSQL), operating systems (Unix, Linux, or Windows).

Responsibilities

• In partnership with the Business Development team, formulate and execute a sales strategy to exceed revenue objectives through the adoption of AWS
• As a key member of the solutions architecture team, ensure success in building, migrating and modernizing applications, software and services on the AWS platform
• Educate customers on the value proposition of AWS, and participate in deep architectural discussions to ensure solutions are designed for successful deployment in the cloud
• Conduct one-to-few and one-to-many training sessions to transfer knowledge to customers considering or already using AWS (i.e Dev Days or Immersion Days)
• Capture and share best-practice knowledge amongst the AWS Solutions Architect community
• Contribute to AWS customer-facing publications such as white papers
• Act as a technical liaison between customers, Service Teams and Support
