Royal Pacific Hotel is seeking an experienced Engineering/Maintenance Technician to support the Chief Engineer in maintaining hotel facilities. The role involves planning and executing repairs, preventive maintenance, and ensuring safe, efficient electrical and mechanical operations within the property.

Applicants should have a Diploma or higher in Mechanical/Electrical or Building Engineering, at least 5 years of hotel/apartment engineering experience, and hold an Electrical Worker Certificate

Qualifications

• Diploma or above in Mechanical/ Electrical or Building Engineering required.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in hotel/apartment engineering preferred.
• Good technical knowledge in electrical, plumbing and MVAC systems.
• Electrical Worker Certificate (Grade B) required.

Responsabilités

• Assist Chief Engineer with the integrity and operation of mechanical and electrical plant.
• Plan daily, weekly and monthly maintenance and ensure completion to satisfaction.
• Support smooth operations of the Engineering Department across all other departments.
• Ensure timely operation and maintenance of mechanical and electrical services; provide fault diagnosis and supervision.
• Carry out operational and administrative duties as assigned.

Responsibilities:

• Assist Chief Engineer for the integrity of the hotel physical facilities including proper operation, repair, maintenance & installation of mechanical and electrical plant, fire & life safety, physical security of the building and assets of the hotel.
• Makes daily, weekly and monthly work assignment as regards to repairs and preventative maintenance and to follow through until work is completed in a satisfactory manner.
• To assist in the smooth and efficient running of the Engineering Department in support of all other operating departments
• Ensures the correct, efficient and timely operation and maintenance of all mechanical and electrical services. Provides technical support and leads and supervises in fault diagnosis and trouble shooting.
• Carry out both the operational and administrative duties.
• Require working shift duty.
• Perform any other duties as assigned by the superior or the hotel management.

Requirements:

• Diploma or above in Mechanical/ Electrical or Building Engineering
• Minimum 5 years working experience at Hotel/ Apartment engineering discipline is preferred
• Good technical knowledge in electrical system, plumbing system and MVAC system
• Knowledge of PC operations
• Possess Electrical Worker Certificate (Grade B)
