Job summary

Global Executive Consultants Ltd. is seeking an Emerging Markets Fixed Income Analyst in Hong Kong to analyze macro EM fixed income and develop investment recommendations. You will work with portfolio managers on bond and derivative positions and utilize fixed income analytics tools.

The role requires a strong EM macro background, at least 3 years of relevant experience, and proficiency in Excel, Python or R, with excellent analytical and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Holders of Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees from top-tier universities.
• At least 3 years of relevant industry experience in fixed income and derivative analytics.
• Familiar with pricing, risk parameter calculation, P&L calculation of local market FX and rates instruments.
• Familiar with portfolio management system (e.g. Bloomberg PORT/AIM system).
• Excellent analytical and quantitative skills; strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct macro analysis for emerging market countries and develop investment recommendations for EM fixed income.
• Work with portfolio managers to manage bond and derivative positions efficiently.
• Use fixed income analytics tools to analyze portfolios.
• Develop and maintain EM macro and markets monitors.
• Collect market colour and dynamics and share with the team in a timely manner.
