Job summary

Hong Kong Center for Construction Robotics is seeking an embedded software engineer to develop and maintain software for smart controllers built on MCU platforms like STM32. You will drive driver development, RTOS integration, and Linux kernel work while collaborating with hardware teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Electronic Information, Automation, CS or related fields.
• 3+ years of embedded software development experience.
• Proficient in C/C++ for embedded development and memory management techniques.
• Strong STM32 MCU development skills with Cortex-M4/M7 preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop, iterate, and maintain embedded software for smart controllers based on MCU series.
• Create and debug low-level drivers and peripheral interfaces (CAN, UART, SPI, I2C, PWM, ADC, USB).
• Collaborate with hardware engineers on board bring-up and system integration tests.
• Develop Linux kernel drivers and porting tasks according to project needs.
• Produce technical documentation including design schemes, test reports, and production specs.
• Support prototype testing and mass production, debugging software issues.
• Use Git/SVN for version control and code reviews to optimize architecture.
• Coordinate with product, testing, and production teams to ensure on-time delivery.
