Zusammenfassung

Electrical and Mechanical Services Department in Hong Kong offers a two-year training program for Electronics/Information Engineering graduates. Trainees are not civil servants and will receive a training honorarium while completing the HKIE Training Scheme A requirements.

Applicants must hold a degree in Electrical/ Electronics/ Information Engineering (or HKIE-compatible qualification) and be a permanent resident of Hong Kong at engagement time. Final-year students may apply with conditions.

Qualifikationen

• A degree in Electrical Engineering (major in electronics), Electronics Engineering, Information Engineering, Computer Engineering/Science or a related subject or a qualification from a Hong Kong university or equivalent (obtained in 2026 or after) which satisfies the academic requirements for corporate membership of the Electronics or Information discipline of the HKIE and for admission into the HKIE Training Scheme “A” in the Electronics or Information discipline; and

• Successful candidates will receive practical training under professional guidance meeting the training requirements of the relevant professional institutions.
