Job summary

The Tung Wah Group of Hospitals in Sheung Wan is seeking an Educational Psychologist to provide psycho-educational assessment and intervention for students with learning, emotional, and behavioural needs. You will support school personnel and parents with evidence-based intervention strategies and help adapt programmes to diverse student profiles.

The ideal candidate holds a Psychology degree plus a Master’s in Educational Psychology (Professional Practice) and is fluent in Chinese and English.

Qualifications

First degree in Psychology from a local university or equivalent.
Master's Degree in Educational Psychology (Professional Practice) from a local university or equivalent.
Full membership of the Division of Educational Psychology of the Hong Kong Psychological Society or equivalent international status.
Proficient in Chinese and English.

Responsibilities

Provide psycho-educational assessment and intervention for students with learning, emotional and behavioural difficulties.
Provide consultation and support to school personnel and parents on intervention strategies.
Deliver appropriate programmes to accommodate students' diverse educational needs.
Support and develop schools to cater for student diversity and manage crises and critical incidents.
Conduct training and sharing activities; participate in research and development work.
