Job summary

Ocean Park Hong Kong is seeking an Assistant Discovery & Education Manager to support the Education Partnership Team on a long-term contract (July 2026–June 2028). The role focuses on co-designing junior science education programmes with secondary schools and delivering resources and activities both inside the Park and in schools.

The ideal candidate holds a biology or education degree, a PGCE/PGDE preferred, and at least two years in education.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Education or related disciplines.
• PGCE or PGDE preferred.
• At least 2 years of experience in education or related fields.
• Experience developing teaching materials or teaching in junior science.
• Fluent in English and Chinese, including Putonghua.
• Computer literacy in MS Office.
• Willing to work outdoors, weekends and public holidays.
• Strong teamwork and ability to work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Deliver education programmes inside and outside the park.
• Foster school networks and collaborations with teachers.
• Design and conduct professional teacher training.
• Manage project expenditure and budgets.
• Conduct surveys and audits for the funding project.
