Job summary

DBS is seeking a driven junior professional to join the Metals & Mining team in Hong Kong. You will assist in client relationship management, credit analysis, and transaction execution across corporate banking products.

You will work closely with senior bankers, gain exposure to credit reviews, financial modeling, and industry research, while ensuring compliance and timely delivery in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years banking or financial services experience, corporate banking or credit analysis preferred.
• Solid foundation in financial statement analysis and credit risk assessment.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, accounting or economics; CFA/FRM progress is an asset.
• Fluency in Mandarin and English (written and spoken) for regional client communication.

Responsibilities

• Assist senior relationship managers in day-to-day client communications and onboarding.
• Support credit analysis, due diligence, financial modeling and risk assessments.
• Coordinate with cross-functional product teams to deliver tailored banking solutions.
• Monitor industry trends in metals, mining and commodities to identify opportunities and risks.
• Support loan drawdown processes and ensure audit and regulatory compliance.
