Global Investment Bank, partnered with a leading advisory recruiter, seeks a Director to lead Securities Operations across Asia Pacific from Hong Kong. This senior role sits on the trading floor and works closely with Sales, Trading and Markets management to optimize the post-trade framework.

The candidate will own the end-to-end operation, drive process improvements, shape the regional organisation and embed industry best practices across the post‑trade lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Lead Securities Operations across Asia Pacific, coordinating with Sales, Trading and senior Markets leadership.
• Own the front‑to‑back post‑trade operating model supporting Markets, with emphasis on Fixed Income and Cash Equities.
• Oversee broader product coverage traded in the region and ensure robust BAU post‑trade processes.

We are currently partnering with a leading global investment bank with a well-established presence across Asia Pacific and a strong strategic focus on the continued growth of its Markets franchise in the region.

They are looking to appoint a Director level candidate to lead Securities Operations across Asia Pacific, to be based in Hong Kong.

This is a senior, highly visible and business-facing role, sitting on the trading floor in close partnership with Sales, Trading and senior Markets management. The Markets business has seen substantial revenue growth in recent years, and the successful candidate will own the front-to-back post-trade operating model that supports it, with a particular focus on Fixed Income and Cash Equities, while also covering the broader range of products traded across the region. Alongside running the business-as-usual operation, the role carries a clear mandate to review and improve processes, shape the structure of the regional organisation and embed industry best practice across the post-trade lifecycle.
