Job description

About Langham Hospitality Group

A wholly-owned subsidiary of Great Eagle Holdings, Langham Hospitality Group (LHG) comprises a family of distinctive brands, including The Langham Hotels and Resorts, Cordis Hotels and Resorts, Eaton Workshop and Ying’nFlo. With over 40 hotels and residences in operation or development, LHG has a global footprint that extends across Asia, Europe, North America, Australasia and the Middle East.

Langham Hospitality Group is committed to supporting its residential development strategy, providing development partners compelling solutions for their mixed-use developments and, subject to strict requirements, standalone residential developments.

Dedicated to delivering exceptional service to our internal and external stakeholders, we source, qualify, and convert leads with deep respect for our esteemed brands, with a focus on The Langham. Accordingly, we identify opportunities in key urban and resort locations worldwide, guided by four dimensions:

  • Location: Markets that support luxury residential fundamentals.
  • Partner: Like-minded owner / developers committed to excellence.
  • Product: Exceptional design and experienced consultants to ensure product quality, top-quality marketing communications, and brand compliance.
  • Legacy: Focused on long-term value and asset protection for residence owners.

Through these efforts, we aim to create profound and meaningful relationships with our guests, residence owners and stakeholders while preserving the unique legacy and heritage of The Langham brand for future generations.

Although The Langham brand is the focus for the residential strategy, the group opportunistically explores Cordis and Eaton to provide developer value and solutions, and support their development as respected global brands.

This role combines established and emerging responsibilities with a focus on driving residential marketing activities to support development partners across mixed-use and standalone residential developments globally. It operates with significant impact, supporting activities that drives residential license fee generation globally and laying the foundation for a smooth and structured marketing process that creates tangible value for development partners.

The position requires a solid understanding of marketing approaches for brands across different segments with a focus on The Langham brand, while remaining opportunistic for mixed-use developments under the Cordis and Eaton brands. Accordingly, it requires creativity, strategic thinking, and close collaboration with senior corporate executives to maintain brand integrity, ensure brand alignment and effective execution.

Key responsibilities:

Internal Marketing activities & toolkit development

  • Work with Loyalty Marketing to provide regular evaluation of owner benefits program (incl. enrolment) which may involve reviewing communications to developers, purchasers and residence owners.
  • Work with Loyalty Marketing to leverage and optimize loyalty database for residential applications including identification of target audiences based on profiles, demographics and geographies.
  • Support LHG Development with pitch deck materials incl. case studies, proofs of concept, rental program performance, residential mobile application materials, compelling headlines, etc. and ensuring such tools are presented optimally in developer-facing materials.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders on The Langham Residences website updates, ensuring new projects are timely uploaded and featured in line with brand standards (i.e. content, imagery, etc.). This will include building out the website to support inquiry processing and database management.
  • Secure necessary internal approvals from relevant stakeholders prior to marketing commencement.
  • Long-term objective to secure residence owner testimonials for use and application in development pitches.
  • Analyze competitive projects, buyer demographics, pricing trends, and sales performance metrics, and share insights and recommendations with internal stakeholders and development partners.

External Marketing Support & Process

  • Establish standard marketing actions and create processes that LHG can undertake to support development partners including, but not limited to:
  • Roadshow hosting
  • EDM database communications
  • Property level marketing activations (i.e. guest room TVs, collateral placement, etc.)
  • Brand magazine advertisements
  • Brand website features incl. link to developer sites

  • Review developer sales gallery plans alongside Design & Technical Services to ensure alignment with brand standards and optimization for marketing & sales results.
  • Review developer marketing materials & collateral (incl. brochures (print + digital), floor plans, factsheets, websites, etc.) to ensure brand compliance and alignment to standards.
  • Ensure consistent messaging and visual identity across marketing channels.
  • Attend developer launch events.
  • Track marketing & sales progress (incl. measuring sales absorption) and oversee residential projects from marketing launch to successful completion of sales & residential handover.
  • Coordinate mystery shopping
  • Provide regular marketing feedback and ensure corrective actions where appropriate to mitigate brand exposure.

Requirements:
