Job summary

One Advisors is partnering to recruit a Head of Preclinical and Translation Development in Hong Kong. You will lead a team of scientists, providing strategic leadership across discovery-stage development and translational research, reporting to the CEO.

Qualifications

• Terminal degree with 15+ years of biotech/pharma industry experience.
• Proven track record in non-clinical development and translational biomarker strategy.
• Experience with IND/CTA submissions and regulatory frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Lead scientific strategies to advance assets from discovery to clinical readiness.
• Drive candidate selection and stage-gate decisions across programs.
• Formulate integrated development plans linking biology, mechanism of action, biomarkers and clinical strategy.
• Provide scientific leadership to prioritize portfolio assets and expand pipelines.
• Present development strategies to executive leadership, advisors, partners and investors.
• Lead non-clinical activities to support regulatory submissions and trial initiation.
• Direct CROs and external development partners supporting non-clinical programs.
• Interpret preclinical findings and their implications for clinical development.
• Execute translational biomarker discovery, validation and implementation.
