The ideal candidate has 6+ years in corporate communications, fluent English and Chinese, and a proven track record in financial media relations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or above in communications, journalism, media studies, or a language-related discipline.
• Exceptional written and verbal English and Chinese with Putonghua fluency.
• Minimum 6 years of experience in corporate communications or media relations.
• Demonstrated ability to manage media relations across HK and China financial media.
• Hands-on with AI-powered content creation/editing/workflow optimization.
• Strong understanding of evolving media landscape and digital platforms.
• Tech-savvy with MS Office, WeChat, LinkedIn and related tools.
• Directors-level candidates may be considered for senior role.

Responsibilities

• Serve as liaison for journalists and media contacts, handling inquiries and coordinating interviews for senior leadership.
• Write, edit, and translate business content in English and Chinese, including press releases and CEO messaging; utilize AI tools for optimization.
• Organize media training and support spokespeople development.
• Lead management of corporate reputational risk and monitor media coverage with agencies.
• Plan corporate events from strategy to delivery and drive brand events.
• Define and drive GF Securities' brand strategy across channels and manage owned media platforms.
• Support ad hoc projects as required.
