Job summary

HSBC in Hong Kong is seeking a high-caliber professional to join our Global Markets team as a Director, FX & PM Options Trading. You will lead foreign exchange options trading, pricing, risk management for FX derivatives, reporting to the Global Head of G10 FXO trading and locally to the EM FXO leadership.

Based in Hong Kong, you will drive strategic initiatives, deliver consistent pricing, manage trading risk within desk limits, and work closely with sales and clients to grow revenue and market

Qualifications

• Pricing and risk management of the G10, Yen, Commonwealth FX & PM Options business during Asia Timezone.
• Drives the development of business initiatives with regard to the development of technical trading tools.
• Generate ideas and solutions to increase revenue generation, market share and hit ratios.
• Provides timely and accurate dealing services for clients in the assigned area of FXO trading expertise.

Responsibilities

• Pricing and risk management of the G10, Yen, Commonwealth FX & PM Options business during Asia Timezone
• Drives the development of business initiatives with regard to the development of technical trading tools
• Generate ideas and solutions to increase revenue generation, market share and hit ratios
• Provides timely and accurate dealing services for clients in the assigned area of FXO trading expertise
• Manages the firm’s inventory and trading risk under supervision and as assigned in compliance with all applicable regulation within a given business area and within desk limit structure
• Deliver fair outcomes for customers and ensure own conduct maintains the orderly and transparent operation of financial markets
• Provides consistent pricing and market making to sales force and target clients
• Executes firm and customers' trades in accordance with desk Volcker designation and may contribute to the formulation of trading strategies
• Ensures all trades are booked to front office position keeping system on the day they are executed
• Reconciles daily and/or monthly reports, as assigned
