Job summary

The Consulate-General of the Republic of Singapore in Hong Kong is seeking a reliable Driver to provide safe, punctual chauffeuring for the Consulate and visiting Singapore delegations. The role includes maintaining vehicle records, arranging maintenance, and assisting with light office tasks.

Candidates should have at least 5 years of professional driving experience, a valid Hong Kong driving licence with no accidents, and fluency in English and Cantonese. Basic Chinese is a plus.

Qualifications

• Possess a valid driving licence for driving private car in Hong Kong with no accident record.
• At least 5 years of professional driving experience for diplomatic missions, government agencies, hotels or similar environments.
• Familiar with Hong Kong roads, traffic laws and regulations.
• Able to communicate in fluent English and Cantonese; basic Chinese is an advantage.
• Strong attention to detail and discretion.

Responsibilities

• Chauffeur members of the Consulate-General and visiting delegations for official trips, including after office hours and some weekends/public holidays.
• Dispatch and collect documents/items as assigned.
• Maintain cleanliness and records of official vehicles and logbook.
• Report incidents and/or faulty parts; arrange regular maintenance and cleaning as instructed.
• Assist with mail, revenue banking, receptions/events and other duties as assigned by supervisors.
