Job summary

Accenture PLC in Hong Kong is seeking a Business Analyst to contribute actively and independently as a subject matter expert. You will engage with business users, document requirements, and help design solutions across Web, Mobile, IoT, and other digital platforms, fostering growth within a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, or related field.
• 3 years of experience in technology industry, preferably in consultancy.
• Experience in large digital transformation projects.
• Solid understanding of Agile or Scrum methodologies.
• Basic knowledge of mass public transportation operations.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms including Microsoft Azure and Alibaba Cloud.
• Experience in requirements management, process modeling, UAT, and stakeholder management.
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and adapt to changing priorities.
• Proficient in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin.

Responsibilities

• Engage business users to elicit, analyze, document, and validate requirements.
• Collaborate with the Project Lead and stakeholders to design solutions for business initiatives, including Web, Mobile, IoT, and other digital platforms.
• Translate approved business requirements and solution designs into functional specifications, process flows, and testing requirements.
• Support the Project Lead in preparing project plans, timelines, resource estimates, and Statements of Work (SOW).
• Observe, review, and analyze existing business processes and workflows to identify improvement opportunities.
• Coordinate with business users, development teams, and vendors to ensure successful project delivery.
• Ensure delivered solutions meet business requirements, quality standards, and project objectives.
• Work closely with client IT teams on vulnerability management, security compliance, and related remediation activities.
• Collaborate with client IT teams to execute project implementation activities in accordance with established standards, governance, and procedures.
• Manage multiple workstreams and priorities simultaneously while maintaining high-quality deliverables and meeting project deadlines.
• Demonstrate a proactive, self-motivated, and results-oriented attitude by identifying issues, proposing solutions, and driving actions to closure.
• Perform other ad hoc duties and project-related tasks as assigned by the Project Lead or direct supervisor.

Preferred Knowledge And Experience

• Prior experience in a sizeable digital transformation project
• Solid understanding of Agile or Scrum methodology
• Basic understanding of mass public transportation operations and related business processes.
• Fundamental knowledge of cloud platforms, including Microsoft Azure and Alibaba Cloud.
• Experience in requirements management, process modeling, user acceptance testing (UAT), and stakeholder management.
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently, adapt to changing priorities, and effectively manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Good command in English, Cantonese and Mandarin.
