Job summary

Societe Generale APAC is seeking an IT professional to support our Global Markets production systems. You will operate on the DPS front-office and derivative desks, ensuring platform availability and delivering robust tooling.

You will work across languages and tech stacks, engaging with local and global peers to turn incidents into actionable improvements. The role demands a technical background (JavaScript/Angular, SQL, Python, Java, Linux), familiarity with DevOps tools, and a strong English

Qualifications

• Financial banking industry experience preferred
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or similar
• Able to work in the stressful environment of a trading floor
• Team player who works hand in hand with peers
• Technical background in JavaScript/Angular, SQL, Python, Java and Linux is a strong advantage
• Familiar with DevOps tools: ELK stack, GitHub, Jira, Azure, Jenkins, Ansible, Puppet
• Knowledge of derivative products is a plus
• Curious about new technologies and ability to share/explore them
• Fluent English is mandatory

Responsibilities

• Support DPS front-office desk with daily IT requests
• Support derivative listed product front-office desk with daily IT requests
• Ensure high production quality and platform availability
• Develop, maintain and improve tools to manage production
• Architect and write robust multi-language applications
• Collect requirements and provide business analysis as needed
• On-duty tasks when required
• Collaborate with local and global counterparts to raise issues and new requirements
