Job summary

Bond West Consultants seeks a high‑caliber DevOps/Platform Engineer for a large FI client. Design and maintain resilient production and staging environments using Infrastructure‑as‑Code, and build multi‑repository CI/CD pipelines with automated validation and fast rollback readiness.

Implement centralized logging, metrics, tracing, and alert tuning for improved visibility. You will lead high‑severity incident response, perform root‑cause analysis, and enforce release safety with phased rollouts

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 3+ years in DevOps, SRE, or platform engineering.
• Strong Linux, networking, shell scripting, and IaC practices.
• Proven CI/CD experience and containerized workloads orchestration.
• Experience with payments or high-volume financial transaction ecosystems.

Our client, a sizable FI company is now looking for a high caliber candidate for the following position:

Job Description:

Design and maintain resilient, scalable production and staging environments using Infrastructure-as-Code for maximum consistency.

Build and automate multi-repository CI/CD pipelines with integrated release validation, gate checks, and fast rollback readiness.

Implement centralized logging, metrics, tracing, and alert tuning to accelerate incident response and system visibility.

Safeguard high-traffic payment processing, asynchronous callbacks, reconciliation flows, and scheduled operational jobs.

Lead high-severity incident response, root cause analysis, and enforce release safety standards like phased rollouts and deployment checklists.

Partner with security teams to manage access controls, secret/certificate lifecycles, patch management, and audit traceability.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field with 3+ years of hands-on DevOps, SRE, or platform engineering experience.

Strong expertise in Linux, networking fundamentals, shell scripting, web/reverse proxies, and Infrastructure-as-Code practices.

Proven track record building CI/CD pipelines and operating containerized workloads/orchestration in multi-service environments.

Hands-on experience with production monitoring tools, alert tuning, database/middleware operations, and pressure-tested incident management.

Experience with payments, payment gateways, asynchronous processing, or high-volume financial transaction ecosystems.
