Michael Page is partnering with a leading overseas subsidiary of a Mainland-backed insurer to recruit a senior investment professional in Hong Kong. The role focuses on developing investment strategies, managing risk, and refining operations across Hong Kong, Macau, and Southeast Asia.

You will lead regulatory reporting, oversee investment projects, and support the investment system platform with a strong, collaborative team.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance, Mathematics or related fields.
• 10+ years of relevant experience, preferably in asset management or insurance.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently with a team.

• Develop and implement the fund's investment strategies, risk management framework, and operational plans.
• Establish and continuously refine operational and management standards across the organization.
• Oversee and monitor investment projects, addressing issues promptly.
• Provide strategic support for investment activities and drive development of the investment system platform.

It offers life insurance, investment management, and retirement fund services spanning Hong Kong, Macau, and Southeast Asia. It operates both proprietary and third-party asset management platforms, delivering global asset allocation through a value-driven philosophy and attracting assets under management in the hundreds of billions HKD.

Job Description

• Develop and implement the fund's investment strategies, risk management framework, and operational plans.
• Establish and continuously refine operational and management standards, ensuring robust systems, processes, and guidelines across the organization.
• Oversee and monitor investment projects, promptly addressing and resolving any unforeseen issues.
• Provide strategic support for investment activities and drive ongoing development of the investment system platform.
• Prepare and submit regulatory reports to domestic and international authorities regarding investment operations.
• Perform other tasks as assigned.

The Successful Applicant

• Bachelor's degree or above in Economics, Finance, Mathematics, or related fields.
• Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience, preferably within large financial institutions (asset management or insurance companies preferred).
• Strong problem-solving skills, ability to work independently, and a collaborative team spirit; quick learner.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
• Excellent Chinese report writing skills.
• Fluent in written Chinese and English; strong spoken Mandarin, Cantonese, and English.
