Job summary

Flow Traders in Hong Kong seeks a Delta One Trader to join our growing trading team. You will provide liquidity in ETFs and index products across Asian exchanges, execute index arbitrage, and drive P&L with strong risk controls.

The role requires top quantitative and programming skills and is ideal for candidates with 3+ years in Delta One trading or equity derivatives. You will collaborate with sales, research and structuring, while maintaining robust relationships with counterparties in Asia.

Qualifications

• Degree in finance, STEM or quantitative field is required.
• Minimum 3+ years in Delta One trading or equity derivatives.
• Strong ETF trading and index arbitrage background.
• Proven ability to manage risk and deliver P&L in fast markets.
• Excellent quantitative and analytical skills.
• Programming or data analysis skills preferred.

Responsibilities

Flow Traders is looking for a Delta One Trader to join our growing trading team in Hong Kong. This is a unique opportunity to join a leading proprietary trading firm, working alongside some of the brightest minds in the industry.

The successful candidate will be responsible for market making, risk management, and proprietary trading of index-related products across Asian exchanges. This role requires strong expertise in ETF trading, index arbitrage, and equity derivatives, with a proven track record of managing risk and generating consistent returns.

What You Will Do

• Market Making & Trading
• Provide liquidity and manage risk in ETFs, index futures, and related products across Asian exchanges.
• Execute and manage index arbitrage books and other relative value strategies.
• Monitor and optimize trading positions to maximize profitability while maintaining risk discipline.
• Develop and implement quantitative trading strategies in Delta One products.
• Manage exposure across multiple Asian markets, ensuring compliance with risk limits.
• Identify and capitalize on arbitrage opportunities between cash equities, ETFs, and derivatives.
• Work closely with sales, research, and structuring teams to provide market color and trading ideas.
• Maintain strong relationships with exchanges, brokers, and counterparties in Asia.
• Stay updated on market developments, regulatory changes, and product innovations.

What You Need to Succeed

• University degree, preferably in Finance, Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Econometrics, or related quantitative disciplines
• Minimum 3+ years of experience in Delta One trading or equity derivatives
• Strong background inETF trading and index arbitrage
• Proven ability to manage risk and generate P&L in fast-moving markets
• Excellent quantitative and analytical skills
• Strong programming or data analysis skills (Python, R, SQL, or similar) preferred
• Ability to thrive under pressure and make quick, informed trading decisions
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
