Yamu Technology (Hong Kong) Limited in Hong Kong seeks a resident on-site technical support engineer to maintain DNS and GSLB systems for financial clients, delivering ultra-stable, low-latency traffic management and ensuring business continuity.
You will handle end-to-end incident response, document changes, and collaborate with client IT teams on network services, risk assessments and compliance while upholding professional standards.
Provide resident on-site technical support and daily maintenance for clients' DNS & GSLB systems, delivering ultra-stable, low-latency traffic management for core financial business. You will resolve production incidents promptly to guarantee maximum system stability and business continuity for financial core services.

Manage full incident handling workflow: rapid response to service tickets, fast fault localization & root cause analysis; prepare and submit standardized monthly service reports to clients on schedule.
Independently draft complete technical documentation for all production changes, including risk assessment plan, implementation procedure and rollback recovery plan, complying with financial IT compliance standards.
Maintain rigorous work standards and professional ethics during on-site communication with client network, security and operation teams.
Minimum 3 years end-to-end delivery & operation experience focusing on financial DNS and hardware SLB load balancing projects.
Hands-on project delivery experience with physical hardware SLB appliances: F5, Sinfor, DPtech, Hongji.
Familiar with financial IDC network architecture and logical zone segmentation design for banks, securities firms and insurance companies.
Master GSLB principles, scheduling logic and real-world deployment scenarios; proficient in operation & configuration of mainstream hardware SLB appliances.
In-depth knowledge of Layer 4 & Layer 7 load balancing mechanisms; solid theoretical & practical skills in routing, switching, firewall, router and switch deployment & troubleshooting.
Expertise in network protocol analysis, end-to-end traffic tracing and multi-dimensional production fault diagnosis.
Capable of independently writing & maintaining standardized technical documents: operation manuals, configuration guides, fault handling SOP, cutover & rollback documents.
Excellent verbal & written communication skills to coordinate with financial client IT teams.
Preferred: Industry-standard network certifications such as CCNP, HCIP or equivalent; F5 201 or above certifications are highly preferred.
Preferred: Prior on-site resident support experience serving Hong Kong local financial institutions; trilingual ability (English, Mandarin, Cantonese) for daily client communication; familiar with Hong Kong financial industry IT change management, audit and compliance requirements; practical experience in DNS cluster deployment, GSLB cross-data-center scheduling and financial disaster recovery architecture.
