Job summary

TEKsystems seeks a hands-on Database Administrator to join a well‑established capital markets and financial services organization in the Asia‑Pacific region. You will manage PostgreSQL, Oceanbase and Oracle environments, ensuring stability, performance and reliability of critical databases.

You will provide day‑to‑day operational support, backups, patching and DR planning, monitor health, troubleshoot incidents and collaborate with application, infra and support teams to meet business needs.

Qualifications

• Proven experience administering PostgreSQL, Oceanbase and Oracle in production.
• Hands-on database management, monitoring and operations.
• Strong troubleshooter with performance tuning skills.

As a Database Administrator, you will be responsible for maintaining the stability, availability, and performance of PostgreSQL Oceanbase or Oracle environments. You will play a key role in ensuring business‑critical databases operate efficiently while supporting ongoing improvements in monitoring, resilience, and scalability.
