Randstad Hong Kong Limited is seeking a senior commercial analytics leader to guide a team of data scientists and analytics engineers in a central analytics division. You will translate complex data outputs into actionable retail strategies and measurable ROI for C-level stakeholders.

Responsibilities include mentoring the team, aligning projects with business objectives, and championing Generative AI adoption across regional teams while ensuring data quality and governance.

You will join the central analytics division as a key commercial leader, guiding a specialized team of data scientists and analytics engineers. • Lead, mentor, and empower a team of data scientists and analytics engineers, aligning technical projects with core business objectives.

• Act as the primary translator between C-level commercial stakeholders, marketing, supply chain, and technical data science teams.

• Translate complex data science outputs into clear business stories, actionable retail strategies, and measurable ROI.

• Oversee the commercial application of predictive and optimisation models, including demand forecasting, churn prediction, algorithmic pricing, and customer personalisation.

• Drive business adoption of advanced analytics, Generative AI agents, and LLM-powered internal tools to enhance self-service business intelligence across regional teams.

• Partner with data engineering and governance teams to ensure data quality, model usability, and compliance with global data privacy standards.

skills & experience required.

• Minimum 6+ years of data science or commercial analytics experience, with at least 2 years in a formal leadership, team lead, or management capacity.

• Proven track record in Retail, E-commerce, FMCG, or Consumer Goods analytics, with strong business acumen.

• Strong technical understanding of machine learning concepts and predictive modeling (Python, R, or SQL), with the ability to evaluate model outputs for commercial relevance.

• Demonstrated experience in stakeholder management and executive storytelling, with proven capability in explaining technical data science to non-technical business leaders.

• Familiarity with cloud data environments (Azure, AWS, or GCP) and business intelligence tools (PowerBI, Tableau) for executive reporting.

• Degree (Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Ph.D.) in Business Analytics, Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related quantitative field.
