Job summary

Bank Of China (Hong Kong) Limited is seeking a Senior Data Governance Analyst to lead and support data governance initiatives, focusing on data security, standards and dictionary management.

You will collaborate with data stewards across business areas to drive data quality, customer data management and regulatory research, while supporting other data management tasks as assigned. The role requires a degree and at least 3 years' experience; familiarity with MS Office and SQL/Python is preferred.

Qualifications

• Degree required in computer science, IT management, statistics, business administration or related field
• Minimum 3 years' working experience, preferably in data management field
• Familiar with Microsoft Office (including Chinese typing), SQL / Python preferred. Candidates with less experience may be considered as Associate Data Analyst.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support data management activities in the areas of data security, data standards and data dictionary management
• Work with data stewards in various business areas to drive data quality and customer data management
• Conduct research for regulatory requirements and best market practices of data governance
• Support other data management tasks as assigned
