Job summary

Shanghai Commercial Bank Ltd in Hong Kong is seeking a data platform specialist. You will develop and maintain modular software frameworks, data warehouses/lakes, and data integration projects, collaborating with business users and the IT team to define data requirements.

The role requires 3+ years of Java Spring development, Spring Boot, Python, RESTful APIs, SQL and containerization, plus experience with data warehouse technologies and streaming.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Mathematics, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in Java Spring application development.
• Proficiency with Spring Boot, Python, RESTful APIs, SQL and containerization.
• Experience with data warehouse technologies and streaming.
• Strong communication in English, Chinese and Putonghua.
