Job summary

Global Executive Consultants Ltd. is seeking a Technology Compliance Manager in Hong Kong to oversee technology compliance, information security, and cyber risk programs. The role reports to the Senior Manager, shaping policies and coordinating with regulators.

The candidate should have a degree in IT/cyber security and at least five years of relevant experience, with strong English and Chinese communication skills and a background in fintech or data privacy awareness.

Qualifications

• University degree in information technology, information/cyber security, computer science or related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of information/cyber security or technology risk management experience; deputy manager level possible with fewer years.
• Strong knowledge of technology risk management and cyber security best practices in fintech contexts.
• CISA, CISM, CDPSE, CRISC, CISSP, CEH, CCSP, CREST or similar certifications are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Report to Senior Manager or Department/Division Head on technology compliance, cyber security and information security matters.
• Establish, update and maintain unit policies, procedures, guidelines and plans for regulatory and law-enforcement topics.
• Participate in cyber or information security drills initiated by industry bodies or regulators.
• Assist Head in liaising with authorities or regulators.
• Assist in coordinating incident reporting related to IT, cyber security and system incidents.
• Keep abreast of cyber security regulations and industry requirements to identify enhancement areas.
• Coordinate with other departments on cyber and information security controls and enhancements.
• Arrange and/or conduct security risk assessments, audits and reporting per scope and requirements.
