Job summary

Chubb Hong Kong is seeking an Underwriter to support cyber and technology insurance underwriting. You will manage renewals and new submissions according to established procedures, ensuring accurate risk assessment and timely decisions.

Role requires strong analysis, proactive communication with producers, and collaboration with the underwriting team. Fluency in English and Cantonese is essential, with Mandarin a plus; MS Word/Excel proficiency is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Cyber Security, Computer Science, Risk Management or related discipline.
• 4 years of relevant experience in cyber insurance.
• Excellent command of written and spoken English and Cantonese. Mandarin desirable.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, etc.

Responsibilities

• Manage assigned renewals and handle new submissions according to established procedures.
• Review and analyze data to determine acceptability of risks within authority.
• Communicate with producers to obtain underwriting information and follow up.
• Complete referral procedures for risks exceeding authority.
• Maintain relationships with distribution channels and brokers.
• Promote Chubb coverage, products and services to producers.
• Provide underwriting / administration support to the team.
