Job summary

KOS International Talent Group is helping an international software development and cryptocurrency company find a Finance Manager to join their regional finance team in Hong Kong.

The role requires IFRS expertise, a CPA qualification, 5+ years of accounting experience, and fluency in English and Chinese. You will oversee accounting research, implement new standards, coordinate audits, and analyze complex transactions.

Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting or Finance, CPA qualification.
• Minimum 5 years' accounting experience, including in-house and audit firm.
• Strong knowledge of HKFRS/IFRS and foreign-currency accounting.
• Advanced Excel skills and strong attention to detail.
• Fluent English and Chinese communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Research complex accounting issues and draft formal position papers under IFRS.
• Lead adoption and integration of new accounting pronouncements and regulatory updates.
• Serve as primary liaison for external auditors and manage financial statement disclosures.
• Evaluate accounting treatment for mergers, acquisitions, or complex contracts.
• Handle other ad hoc duties.
