Job summary

Qualifications

• Master's degree or above in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or a related field.
• 1-8 years of relevant credit risk management experience within an investment bank or financial institution.
• Strong understanding of financial markets and products (cash equities, derivatives, fixed income, etc.).
• Solid knowledge of regulatory frameworks related to credit risk management.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills to identify counterparty risks models.
• Leadership and teamwork abilities to collaborate with front office and internal departments.
• Excellent verbal and written communication in Chinese and English.
• Professional certifications such as FRM or CFA are desirable.

Responsibilities

• Conduct clients’ credit assessments for EQ, FICC and Wealth management businesses.
• Perform due diligence on clients and monitor credit status.
• Assist in reviewing and negotiating credit terms on margin loans and OTC derivatives agreements.
• Review and assess margin rules for various products.
• Review credit limits and provide recommendations for approvals.
• Prepare daily credit reports and monitor exposures (PFE, EAD).
• Review and update credit risk management policies and procedures.
• Conduct regular stress testing and risk screening.
• Assess credit risk for new products/applications.
• Support ad-hoc requests from business departments.
