Job summary

InfoTech Services (Hong Kong) Limited is recruiting for a contract IT Infrastructure Specialist to support the Judiciary IT environment at Sai Wan Ho. You will manage virtualization, domain services, email systems and security across servers and networks on a 4-month contract.

The role requires hands-on experience with VMware, Active Directory and Lotus Domino, plus familiarity with anti-virus/endpoint protection and ITIL-like processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years post-qualification experience in IT infrastructure roles.
• Experience with virtualized servers and Microsoft server infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Provide ongoing virtualized servers, domain servers and e-mail systems support, maintenance and administration.
• Collaborate with project teams led by a Project Manager for infrastructure support services.
• Monitor health of servers and systems to ensure stability.
• Oversee Judiciary network infrastructure, security and desktop services.
• Conduct security planning, implementation and monitoring to protect integrity and availability of systems and data.
• Handle incidents, perform maintenance updates, document activities and support end users.
• Support development and implementation of new infrastructure after deployment.

Project Nature (T26) To assist the Judiciary in maintenance and administration of the IT infrastructure and its services including network, server and system monitoring services, and to support the implementation of new IT infrastructures under the Judiciary IT Strategy Plan.

Duties - Serve a contract assignment under InfoTech's headcount, full-time second to serve the Judiciary; The successful candidate is required to

• a. provide on-going virtualized servers, domain servers and e-mail systems support, maintenance and administration;
• b. work with other team members led by a Project Manager in charge of the infrastructure support services;
• c. monitor the healthiness of the servers and systems;
• d. oversee the Judiciary network infrastructure, security and desktop services to maintain a stable and flexible system environment on which the IT development of the Judiciary can be accommodated;
• e. be responsible for performing security planning, implementation and monitoring to protect the integrity, confidentiality and availability of the Judiciary systems and data;
• f. handle incidents and problems, conduct maintenance updates, prepare documentations and provide support to users of the IT infrastructure including end-users and other IT staff; and
• g. provide support to the development and implementation as well as maintenance of the new infrastructure after implementation.

The candidate shall hold a Bachelor's degree or Higher Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, or an equivalent discipline.

The candidate shall have knowledge and experience in administration, maintenance and support of virtualized servers, Microsoft server infrastructure, Lotus Notes mail systems and other IT infrastructure systems (anti-virus system, mobile system etc.):

• Experience in working with VMWare, VSphere virtualization technologies; Microsoft Active Directory (2012 R2 & 2019) and Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager (2012 or 2016); and Lotus Domino Server (R8, R9 or the latest)
• Knowledge of the following products is advantageous:
  • Microsoft SQL (2012 and 2016)
  • IBM Traveller server
  • Microsoft CA server
  • Endpoint Security Protection Solution
  • Lotus Domino Server R9
  • Windows 10/11
  • Windows Server 2012/2016/2019
• Technical Skills:
  • At least 3 years' experience in Anti-Virus Technology (AVT);
  • At least 3 years' experience in Confidential Mail System (CMS);
  • At least 3 years' experience in Endpoint Security Solutions (ESS);
  • At least 3 years' experience in Lotus Notes Administration & Technical Support (LON);
  • At least 2 years' experience in Microsoft Active Directory Administration (ADA);
  • 3 years' experience in Imaging (IMG) is an advantage.
• Non-technical Skills:
  • At least 1 year's experience in work with the Government (GOV);
  • 3 years' experience in helpdesk call handling (HDT) is an advantage;
  • 3 years' experience in managing Government IT standards (ITG) is an advantage.
• Bachelor's degree/Higher Diploma in Computer Science, IT or equivalent;
• At least 3 years' post-qualification experience in which at least 2 years' relevant experience in a similar post and in a comparable capacity.
