Qualifications

• Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint, with client-ready analyses and presentations.

The Opportunity

We are seeking a consultant with a solid background in supply chain and procurement to join our professional services team. You will be deeply involved in strategic transformation and operational optimization projects for clients in the areas of procurement and supply chain management. By applying data-driven methodologies and practical experience, you will help clients achieve cost savings, efficiency improvements, and risk control objectives.

Responsibilities

Deliver procurement and supply chain consulting engagements, from current-state assessment and data analysis to process improvement recommendations.

Analyze spend, supplier, contract and pricing data to identify cost drivers, risks and savings opportunities.

Lead or support sourcing activities, including market research, RFI/RFP/RFQ preparation, supplier evaluation, commercial analysis and recommendations.

Develop category and sourcing strategies aligned with cost, supply continuity, risk and ESG priorities.

Apply cost modelling, benchmarking and total cost of ownership analysis to support supplier selection, negotiation and procurement decisions.

Improve procurement operating models, processes, policies and supplier governance, including onboarding, performance and risk management.

Support digital procurement and analytics initiatives, including e-procurement, workflow automation and data-enabled solutions.

Work with client stakeholders to deliver analyses, financial models, presentations and project outputs, while supporting project management and business development activities.

To qualify for the role, you must have:

• A bachelor’s degree or above in supply chain, procurement, engineering, business, economics, data analytics or a related discipline.


• At least three years of relevant experience in procurement, supply chain consulting, strategic sourcing, category management or transformation.


• Hands‑on experience delivering procurement or supply chain improvement initiatives, such as cost optimization, sourcing, supplier management or operating model design.


• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to turn complex data into practical recommendations.


• Clear communication and stakeholder management skills, with confidence engaging clients and cross‑functional teams.


• The ability to manage multiple workstreams and deliver high‑quality outputs in a fast‑paced environment.


• Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint, with experience preparing client‑ready analyses and presentations.


• Professional fluency in English and Chinese.


• Candidates with less experience may be considered for the Consultant position.

Ideally, you'll also have:

• Experience with a leading consulting firm, professional services organization, or the procurement or supply chain function of a large multinational enterprise.


• Experience in procurement transformation, digital procurement, supplier relationship management, or procurement analytics.


• Familiarity with procurement and analytics platforms such as SAP, SAP Ariba, Coupa, Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools.


• Relevant professional qualifications such as CIPS, CPSM, CSCP, SCMP, PMP, CPIM.
