Job summary

Gough Recruitment (Hong Kong) Pty Limited seeks an Assistant Project Manager to support day-to-day coordination and site management on building construction projects in Hong Kong. You will work closely with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and authorities to ensure smooth operations and compliance with safety standards.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in a related field and at least 3 years of post-qualification experience with a main contractor in Hong Kong.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Structural Engineering, Building Studies, Project Management, or a related discipline.
Minimum 3 years of post-qualification working experience with a main contractor in Hong Kong.
Solid hands-on experience with HKHA and/or ASD projects is an advantage.
Proactive, well-organized, with strong communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
Good command of both written and spoken English and Cantonese.

Responsibilities

Assist the Project Manager in day-to-day coordination and site management of building construction projects.
Liaise with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and government authorities to ensure smooth project operations.
Handle technical submissions, shop drawings, method statements, and material approvals.
Monitor site progress, quality control, and ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
Manage contract administration, including measurement, valuation, and variation order processing.
