Job summary

Charterhouse Limited is seeking an Accountant specializing in consolidation to support month-end close and group reporting. The role focuses on data preparation, validation of consolidated results, and intercompany eliminations within a large regional group.

The ideal candidate has 5–6 years of accounting experience in sizable organizations, fluent in English and Chinese, and proficient with Excel. This position is based in Hong Kong with a competitive salary up to HK$30k.

Qualifications

• Degree in Finance/ Accounting from credible university.
• 5-6 years of financial accounting background from sizable organization/multinationals.
• Self starter with the ability to communicate via matrix structure.
• Strong interpersonal skills and competency on MS Office i.e. Excel.
• Complete fluency in English and Chinese.

Responsibilities

• Support month-end and period-end consolidation activities, including data preparation and validation of consolidated results.
• Assist group consolidation adjustments and eliminations (intercompany balances/transactions) as required.
• Ensure consolidation work complies with group policies, reporting instructions and calendar.
• Collaborate with shared services and finance stakeholders to improve data quality, reporting processes and controls.
