Job summary

Confucius International CPA Limited, based in Central, Hong Kong, seeks a Compliance professional to support the Technical Principal in developing and overseeing the Firm's Quality Control Policy and SOQM aligned with HKSQM standards. The role involves regulatory compliance, reporting, and responding to regulator inquiries.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in compliance/audit, solid knowledge of AFRCO, AML, and HKEx/SFC rules, and strong English and Putonghua communication skills.

Qualifications

• Degree holder in Accounting / Law / Finance or related disciplines.
• Minimum three years of working experience on compliance and audit function.
• Knowledge with HK legal and regulatory requirements prescribed under AFRCO and anti-money laundering is preferred.
• Knowledge in SFC / HKEx rules and regulations and their compliance will be an advantage.
• Proficiency in written and spoken English and Chinese with fluency of Putonghua.

Responsibilities

• Report and assist the Technical Principal to develop Firm's Quality Control Policy.
• Carry out compliance functions to ensure the Firm adheres to AFRCO;
• Develop, design, implement and update a system of quality management (SOQM) that complies with Hong Kong Standard on Quality Management (HKSQM 1 & 2).
• Prepare internal and external compliance report.
• Answer enquiries from regulators on compliance matters.
• Assist in ad hoc projects.
