Job summary

BloFin is building its compliance function from the ground up in the fast-growing crypto payments space. You will shape the frameworks, processes, and culture to stay licensed across jurisdictions while avoiding bottlenecks and keeping pace with product growth.

Qualifications

• 4–6 years of compliance experience, with crypto/payments/fintech exposure.
• Direct exposure to at least one major licensing process (MSO/ASFL/RPAA/MPI) is a plus.
• Solid knowledge of AML/CFT, FATF standards, and digital asset regulations.
• Experience drafting policies that are actually used in practice.

Job description

We're building the compliance function from the ground up at one of the fastest-growing global payment platforms — and we want the person who'd rather build something than maintain it.

This isn't a role where you inherit a finished programme and file reports. You'll be hands-on in shaping the frameworks, processes, and culture that let us move fast and stay licensed across multiple jurisdictions.

What You'll Do

• Own the day-to-day design and implementation of our AML/CFT, KYC/KYB, transaction monitoring, and sanctions screening frameworks
• Draft, maintain, and embed compliance policies and procedures across business lines — and make sure they're actually followed, not just filed
• Run periodic risk assessments and compliance reviews; elevate issues with clear recommendations, not just flags
• Deliver compliance training to business teams and onboard new hires into our compliance culture

Licensing & Regulatory Engagement

• Support licence applications across target markets
• Prepare and review regulatory submissions, responses to regulator queries, and ongoing reporting obligations
• Track regulatory developments globally; translate them into actionable internal guidance
• Serve as a key point of contact for day-to-day regulator engagement under the direction of the Compliance Head

Business Partnership

• Partner with product, legal, operations, and finance teams to provide practical compliance input on new products, markets, and partnerships
• Conduct CDD/EDD on institutional clients, payment partners, and third-party service providers
• Flag compliance risks early in the product lifecycle — before they become problems, not after

What You Bring

• 4-6 years of compliance experience, with at least 3 years in crypto/virtual assets, payments, or fintech
• Direct exposure to at least one MSO, ASFL, RPAA, MPI, or equivalent payment licensing process — you don't need to have led it, but you need to know what it takes
• Solid working knowledge of AML/CFT frameworks, FATF standards, and how they apply to digital asset businesses
• Familiarity with Travel Rule compliance, transaction monitoring tools, and sanctions screening platforms
• Experience writing compliance policies and procedures that people actually use
• Comfortable working in a fast-moving, build-from-scratch environment — you don't wait to be told what needs doing
• Strong written and verbal communication in English; Mandarin or Cantonese is a meaningful advantage
