Job summary

Mind HK is seeking a Communications and Events Intern to assist the communications and events team. This internship offers hands-on experience in creating promotional materials, coordinating campaigns, and supporting event planning for mental health awareness initiatives in Hong Kong.

The role supports the Communications and Events team under the Assistant Manager, with opportunities to develop Canva/Illustrator/Photoshop skills, bilingual writing, and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Currently studying a Degree, Associate Degree, or Higher Diploma in Hong Kong.
• Academic background in mental health, psychology, public health, communications, journalism, or related fields preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with good interpersonal abilities; fluency in English and Cantonese preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with development and review of communications content (e.g., social media, website, campaigns, graphic design).
• Assist with translation needs (English Chinese).
• Events support (e.g. event planning and management) for large-scale mental health awareness events.
• Provide general assistance to the Communications and Events team on various tasks.
• Other communications and events tasks as needed.
