Job summary

AXA Hong Kong and Macau is seeking a seasoned underwriting professional to lead a mixed portfolio for direct commercial clients and bancassurance partners in Hong Kong.

You will oversee end-to-end processes, identify cross-sell opportunities, and maintain strong client relationships while ensuring strict regulatory and data security compliance. The role requires bilingual English/Chinese communication and a background in GI underwriting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field is required.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in commercial GI underwriting or business development, incl. at least 1 year as a supervisor.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a process-improvement mindset.

Responsibilities

• Manage underwriting for a mixed portfolio including direct commercial clients and bancassurance partners.
• Lead end-to-end new business process for direct clients from inquiry to onboarding.
• Identify cross-sell and up-sell opportunities and drive tender processes.
• Build and maintain relationships with key clients and bancassurance partners.
• Prepare MI reports to support strategic decisions.
• Support team manager with strategic initiatives and targets.
• Ensure underwriting activities comply with policies and data security standards.
