Job summary
A consulting firm based in Hong Kong is seeking a Database Administrator to design, develop, and manage databases, ensuring health and performance. The ideal candidate should possess a high diploma in Computer Science or related fields and have hands-on experience with various database systems and cloud platforms. Qualifications
- High Diploma holder or above in Computer Science, Information Technology or related disciplines.
- Hands-on experience with Windows Servers, Linux, Virtualization technologies (VMWare, Docker), Databases (Oracle, MSsql, Mysql), Azure and AWS Cloud platform.
- Have knowledge on database backup and restore solution design.
- Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for database design, development and management.
- Configure and maintain database servers and processes.
- Independently analyse, solve and correct issues in real time.
- Monitor database health and implement backup strategies.
- Analyze and optimize database performance.
- Manage and support the company's IT Database system.
