Job summary

Michael Page International (HK) Ltd is seeking a seasoned Business/System Analyst to translate operational needs into technical requirements and drive software development efforts across enterprise platforms. The role involves collaboration with business units, requirement gathering, and liaison with API-enabled systems and cloud-based solutions.

The ideal candidate has 5–10 years of experience in enterprise analysis, strong analytics, and fluency in Cantonese, English, and Mandarin.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
5-10 years' experience in business/system analysis within enterprise environments.
Strong analytical mindset with the ability to solve complex business and technical challenges.
Solid understanding of cloud technologies (Azure preferred), APIs, and modern architecture concepts.
Familiarity with relational and NoSQL databases.
Able to interpret basic code logic and troubleshoot technical gaps.
Proficient in documentation tools such as Confluence, Visio, Azure DevOps/Jira, and PowerPoint.
Excellent communication skills across technical and non-technical audiences.
Well-organized, independent, and capable of managing multiple priorities effectively.
Fluency in Cantonese, English, and Mandarin.

Responsibilities

Partner with business units to gather and translate operational needs into technical requirements.
Conduct requirement gathering, documentation, and refinement via interviews and user stories.
Translate business expectations into functional specs for developers and architects.
Support UAT planning, review test scenarios, and assist with issue resolution.
Perform impact studies, risk assessments, and support change management.
Work with APIs, REST services, and event-driven frameworks across enterprise systems.
Conduct data analysis using SQL, Excel, or BI tools like Power BI.
Prepare system workflows, diagrams, and comprehensive technical documentation.
Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, grooming, retrospectives.
Coordinate with project teams on deployments, release schedules, rollout initiatives.
Provide support for cloud-based solutions, including Azure components.
