Job summary

The Tung Wah Group invites applications for a Nursing/Healthcare leadership role to oversee clinic operations, drive planning, implementation, evaluation, and quality improvement of services. You will coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams and community partners to deliver care and health education, lead supervision and staff development, and manage clinic resources.

Ideal candidate holds a Nursing degree, HK registration, and extensive post-registration experience including ambulatory

Qualifications

• Recognized degree in Nursing or related discipline or equivalent.
• Registered with the Nursing Council of Hong Kong with a valid Practising Certificate.
• At least 5 years post-registration experience, including at least 3 years in ambulatory services/administration and management of healthcare services.
• Preferred: Master degree in Nursing or related discipline; or advanced nursing specialty qualification.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the clinic's operations and service delivery.
• Plan, implement, evaluate and improve quality of services.
• Coordinate with multi-disciplinary healthcare professionals, community organizations and the public for service provision and health education.
• Lead and supervise the multi-disciplinary team of the clinic.
• Develop, monitor and review quality and standards in the clinic.
• Supervise and train staff including continuous professional development.
• Manage the resources of the clinic.
• Act as resource and referral agent on clinical expertise and perform clinical duties.
• Provide counseling services and health education to clients, relatives and the public.
• Follow up with clients on abnormal examination results.
• Handle complaints, data entry of examination results and prepare statistics reports.
• Initiate and participate in evidence-based practice and research.
• Perform any other duties as assigned.

Job description

The ideal candidate should have/be:

• A recognized Degree in Nursing/related discipline or equivalent;
• registered at the Nursing Council of Hong Kong with a valid Practicing Certificate;
• at least 5 years of post-registration experience of which at least3 yearsin ambulatory services/administration and management of healthcare services; and
• the followingsare preferred:
  (a) a Master Degree in Nursing or related discipline; or
  (b) qualification in advanced nursing specialty (i.e. recognized post-registration certificate or post-graduate certificate/diploma course in nursing specialty).

The successful candidate will be appointed on contract terms with a salary currently at $35,780 per month (Tung Wah Master Pay Scale Point 15). Entry salary depends on years of recognized experience. The salary and allowance are subject to downward/upward adjustment or may be frozen as determined by Tung Wah and/or as appropriate with reference to the civil service pay review. The fringe benefits include paid annual leave, medical services, a dental scheme and training sponsorships.
