Leadingnation in Hong Kong is seeking a Client Advisor / Business Development Manager to drive growth in the wealth and institutional space. You will proactively source prospects, manage the sales cycle from qualification to close, and partner with portfolio managers to tailor solutions.

The role requires at least 5 years in financial services sales, fluency in English, Cantonese and Mandarin, and a high degree of accuracy.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree holder in a financial services role.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Relationship Management / Business Development / Sales within financial services.
• Fluency in English, Cantonese and Mandarin is highly preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Proactively source new prospects through outreach, referrals, intermediaries, and targeted networking within wealth/institutional space.
• Run a disciplined sales process from lead generation to mandate win, including qualification, needs discovery, solution pitching, objection handling and closing.
• Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities within existing relationships to increase AUM and share of wallet.
• Translate client needs into concrete proposals and term sheets and drive negotiation to secure commitments.
• Maintain a highly active Salesforce pipeline with clear next steps, timelines and probability of close.
• Coordinate with compliance, operations and onboarding teams to accelerate funding and reduce friction.

Our client is a fast-growing asset management firm in Hong Kong, and they are currently looking for a Client Advisor / Business Development Manager to join their expanding team.

Business Development:

• Proactively source new prospects through outreach, referrals, intermediaries, and targeted networking within the wealth and institutional space.
• Run a disciplined sales process from lead generation to mandate win, including qualification, needs discovery, solution pitching, objection handling, and closing.
• Achieve and exceed activity, pipeline, and asset‑gathering targets as agreed with management.
• Lead sales meetings, roadshows, and presentations to clearly articulate the firm’s value proposition and differentiate offerings versus competitors.

Relationship Management:

• Identify upsell and cross‑sell opportunities within existing relationships to increase share of wallet and AUM.
• Translate client needs into concrete proposals and term sheets and drive the negotiation process to secure commitments.
• Partner with portfolio managers and product specialists to structure solutions that balance client objectives and commercial viability.
• Maintain a highly active and accurate sales pipeline in Salesforce, with clear next steps, timelines, and probability of close.
• Prioritize high‑value opportunities and manage time and territory to maximize revenue impact.
• Prepare compelling sales materials (presentations, pitch books, proposals) tailored to each prospect segment and buying stage.
• Coordinate closely with compliance, operations, and onboarding teams to remove friction and accelerate time‑to‑funding.

Your Profile

• Bachelor's degree holder
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Relationship Management / Business Development / Sales Support within the financial services industry
• Welcome Private Banking Relationship Manager
• Detail-minded and works with a high degree of accuracy
• Effective communication skills are key (written and verbal)
• Fluent in spoken and written English, Cantonese and Mandarin
