Job summary

WSP in Asia is seeking a qualified site supervisor to oversee building works installations for Data Centre projects. You will prepare technical submissions, supervise contractor activities, and ensure quality and compliance with project standards on site.

The role requires a Diploma or Higher Certificate in Building discipline and at least 8 years of relevant site experience, including data centre work. Strong communication and independence are essential for successful coordination with project

Qualifications

• Diploma or Higher Certificate in Building discipline from recognized institutions.
• Minimum 8 years of relevant site experience, including Data Centre projects.
• Experience with CLP 132kV substation inspection work.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Well-organized and able to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Prepare technical submissions and method statements for building works installation.
• Ensure quality control for site installations and compliance with standards.
• Supervise contractors’ work to ensure adherence to contractual and statutory requirements.
• Conduct on-site inspections and monitor progress to meet project timelines.
• Prepare quality reports and recommend improvement measures.
• Liaise with contractors to execute rectification works promptly.
• Coordinate with project consultants and contractors on builders’ work installation and site performance.

We arehiring for a qualified candidate for this role as per client request to oversee and ensure the quality, compliance, and proper execution of building works installations through technical submissions, site supervision, and coordination with contractors and consultants.
Contract Duration

• This position is offered on a 6-month contract basis.

Requirements

• Diploma or Higher Certificate in Building discipline from recognized institutions such as the Construction Industry Council, Hong Kong Institute of Construction, Hong Kong Institute of Vocational Education, Technical Institutes/Colleges, or equivalent.
• Minimum 8 years of relevant site experience, with mandatory experience in Data Centre projects, including CLP 132kV substation inspection work.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Well-organized and able to work independently.
