Job summary

YO AI Labs seeks a Child & Youth Abuse Trauma Specialist on a remote contractor basis to review and improve AI-generated mental health content for vulnerable youth, applying trauma-informed care principles and ethical standards.

You will assess clinical relevance, privacy, confidentiality, and safety while collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to refine training data and model responses.

Qualifications

• MD, PhD in Psychology, or PhD in Social Work with completed credentials.
• Extensive clinical experience working with children or youth affected by abuse.
• Strong expertise in trauma-informed care and interventions for young survivors.
• Active professional experience supporting individuals affected by abuse.
• Strong understanding of clinical assessment, ethical decision-making, privacy, and confidentiality.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

We are seeking experienced mental health professionals specializing in child and youth abuse to contribute to a customer project focused on improving AI systems' understanding of trauma-informed care and mental health support for vulnerable youth.
