Job summary

China CITIC Bank International Limited seeks a checker for CDD/KYC QA to support the CDD team in periodic reviews and trigger event reviews in Hong Kong. The role emphasizes coaching makers and checkers, ensuring completeness and quality of CDD documentation, and adherence to AML/CTF controls.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of CDD/KYC related experience in banking.
• Practical experience in handling CDD reviews for personal/corporate customers.
• With knowledge of AML/CTF controls and regulatory expectations.

Responsibilities

• Follow up with the collection of detailed customer information and supporting documentation required for the completion of CDD reviews and trigger event reviews.
• Support line manager in leading, coaching and motivating the team that are responsible to complete CDD profile for periodic reviews and triggered reviews.
• Check the completeness and quality of all review documents submitted by CDD makers, including updated customer information, risk assessments, and internal forms.
• Review Name Screening under the Bank’s AML / CTF program.
• Review potential breach cases of Sanctions under the Bank’s AML / CTF program.
• Support team head to drive continuous improvement initiatives to improve operational excellence and productivity.
• Liaise with BU and customers to handle escalated cases to ensure customer satisfaction and case completeness.
• Provide coaching and training to junior staff of the team.
• Adhere to anti-money laundering controls in accordance with regulatory standards and CNCBI policies.
