Job summary

Qualifications

• Relevant teaching experience at secondary school level.
• Excellent classroom management skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Eligibility to work in Hong Kong.

Responsibilities

• Deliver lessons according to plans and instructions from regular teacher.
• Maintain a safe, inclusive, and positive classroom environment.
• Uphold school expectations regarding student behaviour.
• Support students' learning during teacher absence.
• Monitor attendance and maintain records as required.
• Assess and provide feedback on student work when requested.
• Collaborate with departmental colleagues to ensure continuity of learning.
• Follow school safeguarding and child protection requirements.
• Attend staff briefings or meetings during the period of cover.
• Undertake other duties related to short-term teaching cover.
