The Hong Kong Jockey Club is seeking a data analytics professional within the Membership and Customer Excellence Division in Hong Kong. The role focuses on market research, data analysis, and reporting to support decision-making and strategic planning.

You will monitor data quality, perform analyses, and help develop data-driven strategies for diverse club activities while ensuring compliance with policies and regulations.

Formación

• Bachelor degree required in a relevant field.
• Minimum of five years of relevant experience in data analytics, data management, or project management.
• Solid experience with relational databases and familiarity with various database systems.
• Proficiency in object-oriented programming languages and scripting languages.
• Experience with data visualization, quantitative and/or financial modelling tools and techniques.

Responsabilidades

• Assist in undertaking projects that involve market research, data analysis, and report writing to support decision-making and strategic planning
• Identify and monitor data quality metrics to ensure accurate and reliable reporting across different functions
• Conduct regular data analyses to generate insights and support the development of strategies for the department
• Ensure compliance with relevant policies and legal requirements to maintain the integrity of operations
• Use appropriate tools to visualize the data analysis via reports and interactive dashboards
• Undertake other duties as assigned by Manager

Founded in 1884, The Hong Kong Jockey Club (“the Club”) is a world-class racing club that acts continuously for the betterment of our society. The Club has a unique integrated business model, comprising racing and racecourse entertainment, a membership club, responsible sports wagering and lottery, and charities and community contribution. Through this model, the Club generates economic and social value for the community and supports the HKSAR Government in combatting illegal gambling.

The Division

The Membership and Customer Excellence (MCE) Division is responsible for delivering world-class experiences and deepening engagement across all customer segments. The team oversees operations of clubhouses, racecourses, and Off-Course Betting Branches (OCBBs), while enhancing member and owner value propositions and promoting interest in horse ownership and equestrian sports. It leads the Club’s customer experience strategy across digital and physical touchpoints, ensuring consistency, agility, and excellence. The Division also manages data strategy and governance to build a unified view of customers, enabling more personalised and impactful interactions.

The Job
