ABN AMRO Clearing Bank Hong Kong is seeking a Business Developer to join the RAMS team. You will translate business needs into development work and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to deliver end-to-end improvements within technology, digitalization, legislation and regulations.
You will lead change efforts on large projects, document progress, and ensure objectives are met under tight deadlines.

This role sits within the Regional Application Management & Support (RAMS) team under the 1 Global Team. It is responsible for supporting regional and local applications, ensuring system stability, and partnering with business users and IT teams to deliver efficient and reliable solutions. This role combines application development, production support, and project implementation activities.
As a Business Developer, you work in a global team that focuses on improving the performance of our processes, systems and tooling. You do this by translating product and process improvements into value propositions and end-to-end solutions that are consistent with developments in the areas of technology, digitalization, legislation and regulations. You consider the requirements and frameworks set by internal and external stakeholders, such as development, operations, and commercial teams.
You can promote change through the solutions you propose. You clarify how effective improvements in performance, quality and efficiency can be achieved. You provide advice to relevant internal and external stakeholders, creating support for implementing changes and running activities in your discipline.
You have affinity working with larger projects and can take the role of leading the change process, including engaging internal/external stakeholders and other parties involved. You document the progress and ensure that the parties involved meet expected objectives and ensure that AACB meet external deadlines.
The Business Developer hierarchically reports into the Product Owner in the APAC Regional Applications Maintenance and Support (RAMS) block, within the ABN AMRO Clearing Product Grid. A block is a multidisciplinary form of cooperation that consists of professionals from the business lines and the IT organization who autonomously collaborate on one goal. A Grid is a clear and logically defined cluster of teams with an end-to-end responsibility for one or more product groups, channel or enabler. Within a Grid, Business and IT colleagues work together using an Agile working methodology.
