Job summary

A leading bank in Hong Kong is seeking a Business Analytics Specialist to support regulatory IRB models and credit decision analytics for credit card portfolios.

The role involves collaborating with Finance, IT, and data offices, ensuring support on credit, model and system implementation, and contributing to the end-to-end regulatory reporting process and risk reporting framework. Strong analytical skills and fluency in English and Chinese are required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of banking/credit analytics experience.

Our client is a leading bank and they are looking for a Business Analytics Specialist to join their winning team.

Job Duties:

• Support regulatory IRB Models and Credit Decisioning Model analytics for credit card portfolios
• Support the management and work with Finance, Business, IT, business units, data office, ensure requisite support on credit, model and system implementation.
• Support the team to review on the end to end regulatory reporting process, control management framework for risk reporting under different regulators.
• Engage with stake-holders to proactively support business initiatives and provide recommendation based on analytical approaches.

Requirements:

• Good analytical skill and proficient in data analysis using statistical tools such as SAS / SQL/ Tableau/ Python.
• Minimum 2 year’s relevant banking experience with knowledge in credit analytics particular in IRB and credit decision models analytics and data management
• Self-motivated, strong analytical mindset, able to meet tight deadlines.
• Proficiency in both spoken and written English and Chinese.
• Good Communication skills and engage with stakeholders (IT and Finance) to proactively support analytics and provide recommendation based on analytical approaches
