Job summary

TEKsystems in Hong Kong seeks a Settlement System Business Analyst to bridge business users and technology teams for investment settlement platforms. You will gather requirements, document processes and functional specs, and drive system enhancements in collaboration with stakeholders across investment operations, finance and technology.

You will support project delivery, coordinate UAT, and push for process optimisation and automation to improve efficiency.

Qualifications

• 5–15 years of working experience in financial services.
• 2–3 years of Business Analyst, Project Manager, or Change Management experience.
• Experience with middle-office or back-office systems in banking, asset management, brokerage, securities trading, or related institutions.
• Strong understanding of settlement, trade processing, custody, reconciliations, corporate actions or finance operations.

Act as a key liaison between business users and technology teams to support the delivery and enhancement of investment platform and settlement-related systems. You will gather, analyse and document business requirements, process flows and functional specifications, working closely with stakeholders across investment operations, finance and technology teams to drive system enhancements and change initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Support project delivery activities including requirement analysis, impact assessment, testing, implementation and post-go-live support
• Coordinate and facilitate user acceptance testing (UAT), issue resolution and stakeholder sign-off
• Provide business and functional support for investment and operational systems, ensuring stable and efficient day-to-day operations
• Identify opportunities for process optimisation and automation to improve operational efficiency
• Participate in strategic technology initiatives, including digitalisation and AI-enabled process improvement projects
• Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to ensure successful project execution and delivery

About You

• Degree holder in Business, Information Technology, Finance or related disciplines
• 5 to 15 years of working experience within financial services
• Minimum 2 to 3 years of Business Analyst, Project Manager, or Change Management experience
• Experience working with middle-office or back-office systems in banking, asset management, brokerage, securities trading or other financial institutions
• Strong understanding of operational processes such as securities settlement, trade processing, custody, reconciliations, corporate actions, accounting or finance operations
• Proven experience in delivering system enhancement, transformation or process improvement initiatives
• Basic understanding of investment products and investment operations workflows
• Strong analytical, communication and stakeholder management skills
• Fluent in Cantonese and English
