Job summary

MNC Bank Hong Kong is seeking a Business Analyst to support the cash equities Order Management System (OMS) project. You will work with sales, operations, and IT to gather and prioritize business requirements and translate them into detailed functional and technical specifications for new systems or enhancements.

Responsibilities include assisting in project planning, coordinating with software developers and PMs to deliver features, and helping establish KPIs to gauge project success.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Business, Finance, CS or related field.
• Minimum 3 years as a Business Analyst or similar role.
• Experience in Cash Equities or Order Management Systems preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication, able to present complex info clearly.
• Experience in project management, prioritization, and meeting deadlines.
• Experience in process improvement, systems analysis and implementation.

• Collaborate with stakeholders (sales, operations, IT) to gather and prioritize requirements for the OMS.
• Develop functional and technical specs for new systems, processes, or enhancements to the OMS.
• Assist in creating project plans, including scope, timeline, and resources.
• Coordinate with developers, PMs, and stakeholders to implement new features and improvements to the OMS.
• Assist in developing KPIs to measure project success and outcomes.
• Validate user-reported issues and prepare documentation to reproduce them.

• Work closely with stakeholders, including sales, operations, and IT teams, to gather, analyze, and prioritize business requirements for the Order Management System.
• Develop detailed functional and technical specifications for new systems, processes, or enhancements related to the OMS.
• Assist in the development of project plans, including scope, timeline, and resource allocation.
• Collaborate with software developers, project managers, and other stakeholders to ensure the successful implementation of new features and improvements to the OMS.
• Assist in the development and implementation of key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of projects and initiatives.
• Validating user reported issues and preparation documentation to re-produce issue

Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar role.
• Prior working experience in Cash Equities or Order Management Systems
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner.
• Project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
• Experience in process improvement, systems analysis, and implementation.
• Adept at working in a team environment and able to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
